Good vibes, bad manufacturing

I have no problem with the vibrators functionality, feels great, vibrates intensely, all around a good time for a not bad price. My only gripe is that it breaks really easily. Underneath the screw off bulb at the base, you put in 2 AAA batteries, but the pressure build-up inside the little battery holding part always seems to crack and break about a year in. The plastic inner bit of the battery holder (the part with the +/- metal bits) seems to crack very easily, rendering the vibrator unable to receive battery power and therefore functionless. I'm aware that it's good practice to take out the batteries after use, which I always do, but even without them in it, the plastic still cracks. This otherwise great vibrator is ruined by some ****** plastic on the inside and that's just unfortunate. I won't be buying this model a 3rd time. ;_; I really wish I could recommend this, but a design flaw rendering it non-functional that I've encountered multiple times makes me think there must be a better alternative. Goodbye my squishy friend, died too soon. :(
